Aria is a rising 5yo bay Thoroughbred mare offering a rare combination of correctness, rideability and temperament. She is a straightforward, genuine young horse who continues to improve with consistent work.

Schooling

Working correctly in walk, trot and canter. Still green due to age but shows a willing attitude and a naturally balanced way of going. Suitable for a rider looking to continue producing a quality young horse.

Hacking & Behaviour

Hacks confidently both alone and in company. Excellent in traffic and demonstrates a calm, sensible outlook. Good manners on the ground and easy to handle in all routine situations.

Health & Management

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations and worming. Good with the farrier and loads without issue.
She has a cosmetic protruding vein on the left side of her neck from a previous veterinary procedure; sedation is administered on the right side only.

Background

Raced seven times and retired in November. Never placed. Has transitioned well into retraining and shows the correct attitude for further development.

Suitability

Aria is not suitable for novices or inexperienced riders. She is best suited to a competent, confident rider seeking a young horse to produce into a versatile all‑rounder or low‑level eventer. She is straightforward but still developing, and requires a rider who understands young horses.

Genuine sale due to reducing back to two horses. Her value will continue to increase with further work.
