"Murphy " Coloured Gelding Cob/Heavy Horse

Murphy is a handsome, 14.2 approx., 13yo, skewbald, cob gelding, who has striking facial markings. He is very sadly for sale, after owning him for nearly a decade. Having a young child means that he's currently very wasted, due to lack of time, particularly as he enjoys his 'job'.

Murphy is a scopey, enthusiastic jumper. He's competed at numerous show jumping and arena eventing competitions, regularly bringing home rosettes (including 1st places). He is a pleasant and responsive ride to both hand and leg, with an elastic canter. He enjoys hacking out alone or in company, going to training events, and competitions.

Murphy is easy to catch, load, shoe, etc. He's very good in traffic, having been ridden along an A road regularly and having seen plenty of farm vehicles. He has been a mother-daughter share with my mother still riding him at 80 years old. Though he is a cob, due to his size, he is best suited to a light-to-average weight adult or teen.
