Heterandria formosa - mosquito fish Sometimes also known, especially in the USA ,as ‘Least Killifish’ although it is in fact a tiny rare livebearer from Florida, one of the smallest in the world. Delightful and easy little fish but nonetheless very difficult to find nowadays. They are temperate and can be maintained in unheated tanks indoors year-round. Also can be kept in outdoor mini-ponds and tubs during the summer months. I have tank-bred youngsters for sale that are 12mm-15mm long. They don’t get a great deal bigger but easily sexable. £7 each or £20 a trio. Preferably collect from Manchester M28 but shipping could be arranged. Please bring a bag or container.
